About Little Hearts
Little Hearts Learning Centre is an initiative of Dhristi Foundation. It believes in creating enabling spaces to realize the educational and functional needs of the children. We follow an inclusive approach in all the learning experiences at our centre. We work with children who are in age group 3 years to 15 years.
Our Journey
FOUNDED 2009
Little Hearts began its journey in 2009 in a garage with 6 students and parents volunteering as teachers.
STUDENTS 51
Currently our student strength is 51 out of which we have 12 girls and 39 boys.
LOCATION : MUMBAI
We are based in Chmebur,Mumbai which is a peaceful suburb in Mumbai.
TEACHER STUDENT 1:5
We have a small student teacher ratio where the students receives lot of individual attention and facilitates faster learning pace.
Our Activities
Colour Day
This is the beginning activity of each academic year for us at Little Hearts. Every week we choose a particular colour (for Eg.Red). Read More
Parents/Teachers Meeting
We Conduct 4 PTM in a year . All the parents have to come for this meeting as we discuss the child’s progress and other developments. Read More
Cooking activity
This is a regular monthly activity which the students enjoy the most. We have made recipes like Bhel , Sandwich, Pizzas, Sprouts Tikki ,Corn Tikki, Gluten free Poha. Read More
Independence day
On this day the children and staff come dressed in white.We started the day by hoisting the National Flag and signing the Anthem. Read More
