Academic Program
Curriculum is an important part of any educational system. In Little Hearts Learning Centre we follow a functional curriculum for academics viz English, Math and science. These subjects are taught through concrete activities which enhance their understanding. However, the goals are set according to the profile of the student and the methodology is based on the learning style of the student. We also use computers to teach the subjects.
Pratham/Nios
We offer Pratham and NIOS( 10th & 12th )for students eligible for the same.
Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)
It is a highly structured, scientific approach that teaches play, communication, self care , academic and social living skills, and reduces problematic behaviors . A therapist through repetition , reinforcement, and encouragement , helps the child learn skills
Sensory Integration & Occupational Therapy
Our Creative Occupational therapy team helps children achieve independence in various aspects of their daily lives. We facilitate play, learning and self care skills by improving their fine motor skills, Sensory processing abilities behavioral and visual perceptual skills in fun and engaging setting.
Vocational Training
Providing vocational training for persons with disabilities is very important as it will enable them to acquire skills that are relevant to current labor demands. Employment is considered a vital step towards their rehabilitation & empowerment as it provides a sense of belonging ,independence & increases social inclusion and overall well being of People with disabilities and their families.
Speech Therapy
Therapists works with children having speech related disorders. We provide screening, assessment and programs related to the needs of the child.
Spider and Movement Therapy
Our dedicated therapist work to acquire maximum functional mobility in children with motor disability. We use specialized movement techniques to address gross motor deficit in walking , balance ,strength ,range of movement and safety in playful and interactive environment.
Activities of Daily Living
ADL skills like brushing,grooming,Kitchen skills & toileting are part of the students IEP’s . It helps them in prepping for greater independence later in life.
Vision Based Therapy
Aimed at helping and enhancing a child’s visual abilities. It is designed to enhance the brain’s ability to control eye teaming, alignment, focusing abilities, eye movements and coordination, visual processing and perceptual development
